Program Branding and Communications
Better communications. More commitment.
A program brand provides an easy to remember, recognizable identity that helps to build awareness and commitment. Branding your program includes developing a memorable name and logo and consistently using them in all other materials throughout the life of the study. The inVentiv Health Clinical Patient Recruitment Group (PRG) works closely with clients to create a memorable study brand.
A memorable program brand
A program brand provides an easy to remember, recognizable identity that helps to build awareness and commitment. Branding your program includes developing a memorable name and logo and consistently using them in all other materials throughout the life of the study. PRG works closely with clients to create a memorable study brand.
Build program awareness and differentiate your study
Branded, program-awareness materials to keep studies top-of-mind and differentiate them from other studies competing for medical personnel’s time and attention. Materials are directed at not only the investigator and coordinator, but all clinic staff who may be helpful in patient identification. We can also supply materials to communicate your appreciation for the hard work performed by the medical staff, and recognize the effort required for success. Materials may include: written messages, e-Cards, recognition certificates, and desk reminders. Materials are selected based on cultural appropriateness within your budget.
Materials to support investigators
Physicians and nurses also benefit from support on how to discuss research-related issues with patients and families. Topics such as patient protections, IRBs, the research process, and benefits of study participation help ensure patients and families have adequate information to fully consider study participation. Pre-study Information Folders for sites to use during discussions with prospective subjects and family can facilitate the discussion, provide contextual information about research related issues, and enhance performance.
Pre-study Information Folders include the informed consent form, the study brochure, and an overview of the investigational product and related issues. Additionally, information is provided about how research works, patient protections and other adjunct information to aid patient deliberation. The inVentiv Health Clinical PRG develops all materials for inclusion in the folder, produces the folders and manages the logistics to deliver them to each clinical site.
Patient recruitment tools
Identifying potential subjects from a clinic practice may or may not involve searching a database, but will almost always require efficient, effective review of a large number of patient charts. Whether charts are kept electronically or in paper format, this process is time consuming and usually falls on an already overextended study coordinator or research nurse.
inVentiv Health Clinical PRG works with individual sites to facilitate an efficient process of patient identification and chart evaluation based on individual site dynamics and resources. Materials are highly flexible and may be adapted to a variety of organizational types and may include small posters that provide key study identifiers and entrance criteria (for nursing stations and charting rooms), Prescreening checklist, tools for flagging charts for further evaluation or laminated quick reference guides (for research nurses and other support personnel). inVentiv Health Clinical PRG also supports sites with direct funding for chart review activities and provides suggestions regarding how to communicate with patients about research participation.
